I have been on a somewhat strange journey guided by two questions, “what is home?” and “what is this trauma that lives within us really?” This journey has led me to Slave dungeons, oceans that hold tears, River of The Last Bath, lands of One Thousand Hills. I have discovered the land talks, the river guides, dreams awake, ghost are for real, and living stories inside that want to speak. It’s strange to discover I am not who I thought I was at all along, instead I have discovered I (and in fact you) are the horizon beyond what the eyes behold. Journeying here in Africa - I have begun to realize my writing, art, Story-telling, Seeing, and healing, are quite cool navigation tools guiding me and those who want to come along for this interesting ride - Home.
