COURSES
Join Dr. Omileye and others for ACTAEA Institute of Herbal Medicine & Aromatherapy Herbalism & Aromatherapy Guest Lecture Series. Dr. Omileye will present on Fragrance of the Ancestors: Daoist Plant Medicine for Intergenerational and Ancestral Trauma
In Daoist, African, and other indigenous rooted traditions, unhealed ancestral trauma settles into the channels of the body, forming the Ghost River—a hidden current of unresolved pain awaiting release. This course explores how ancestral wounds live within the body’s energetic waterways and how they can be gently transformed.
Through ancient Daoist Alchemical acupuncture protocols using Black Soma No-Needle Intervention Acupuncture (NIA), you will learn to access deep, subtle, and often unseen and difficult to shift layers of ancestral pain - working with breath, acupressure, Channeling of Chi, essential oils, and crystals.
You will be introduced to the Feminine Archetype of Medusa as an embodiment of frozen trauma, Daoist, African and other indigenous Alchemical map of the ancestral trauma body, Daoist and other Indigenous concept of establishing safety, eight powerful Daoist acupuncture (with no needles) and Shamanic protocols - Heart–Kidney Connection, Opening the Four Gates, Internal Dragons, Dai Mai Treatment, and Pericardium Luo, Lung Luo, Kidney Luo Release, Closing the Bone Ceremony - and how to flex and flow them together to restore movement, coherence, and ancestral healing. We will also examine two case studies.
